Who we are

Ali Ercan Özcan, trading as Hardworking Devs, is responsible for the games and support services that link to this policy. Contact: Goyastrasse 9, 13086 Berlin, Germany; ozcan.aercande@gmail.com. This policy covers Skill Issue and other Hardworking Devs games with the practices described here. Store listings and any additional in-app notices identify the features applicable to each game.

Information used by our games

Our games save progress, high scores, upgrades, sound preferences, and settings on your device. Skill Issue requires no account and implements no purchases, chat, user-submitted content, Facebook Login, or Google Play Games. It does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, camera, or personal files for gameplay.

If you contact support, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use this information to respond and investigate. Do not send passwords or information unrelated to your request.

Where enabled by applicable privacy choices, providers may process IP addresses, approximate IP-derived location, app/ad interactions, device and operating-system information, diagnostics, performance information, and device/app identifiers. These can identify a device or installation without your name. We use them to understand gameplay and reliability, deliver and measure ads, and detect fraud or abuse.

Advertising, analytics, and privacy choices

Our Android integration uses Google's User Messaging Platform to obtain a fresh privacy-status result before enabling ads and analytics. An unknown, failed, or timed-out result keeps those services disabled. Where consent is required, applicable provider signals must permit the service. Where the provider reports consent is not required, services may run without a consent dialog, subject to applicable law and provider settings. The consent service itself communicates with Google to determine and manage privacy options.

Skill Issue uses AdMob for banners, interstitials, and optional rewarded ads; Google Analytics for Firebase for usage/performance events; and Meta App Events in the Google Play build for app-event and advertising measurement. When the app's privacy checks permit Meta, automatic app-event logging and advertising-ID collection are enabled for usage and advertising measurement. AdMob may also use advertising/app-set identifiers. Firebase QA disables Meta and uses Google test ad units.

The current game includes neither Firebase Crashlytics nor Meta Audience Network. Included SDKs may still process diagnostics. Read Google's privacy policy, AdMob's SDK disclosure, and Meta's privacy policy.

Where the provider requires privacy options, open the gear menu and select PRIVACY to review them. Android settings also let you reset/delete the advertising ID; this does not disable all analytics or erase previously processed data. Core gameplay works without advertising or analytics. Rewarded-video benefits require an available video and applicable permissions.

Legal bases and recipients

We rely on consent where required for device storage/access, advertising, and analytics. Support processing lets us respond to you and maintain the service. We may retain information to meet legal obligations or protect against abuse. Where legitimate interests apply, you may object as described below. Providers process data for the identified services under their applicable terms; advertising providers may also act as independent controllers. Information may be disclosed when legally required or to establish or defend legal claims.

Retention, security, and international processing

Local progress remains until you clear app data or remove the app, subject to device backup settings. Support and provider records are kept as needed for the stated purposes and legal obligations; provider retention policies and settings also apply. Clearing progress does not erase provider-held data.

We use reasonable safeguards and encrypted connections for supported provider communications. No system promises absolute security. Providers may process information outside your country. Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms and safeguards apply, including contractual protections.

Young players

Games covered by this policy are intended for players aged 13 and above and are not directed to children under 13. Local rules may require parental permission at older ages. Contact us if you believe a child has inappropriately supplied personal data so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

Your rights and deletion requests

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing and complain to your data-protection authority.

Send rights/deletion requests to ozcan.aercande@gmail.com, naming the game and providing enough information to identify the request. Do not send passwords. We may request proportionate verification and coordinate with providers. Without an account system, an email address alone may not identify provider-held records. We will explain any additional information needed and applicable retention exceptions.
